Garden Highlights

The garden is a big source of satisfaction and serenity to me. Some highlights of how it turned out this year.

  5. Super! I am particularly impressed by the brinjals, that I have had no luck with, this year. The Texas heat has been very unkind to everything but the ladyfingers, avarakkai and some pooshanikkai in my garden this year.

    Thanks Kannan :). Congrats on your success! Worry not. We had no luck with the ladyfingers because up here there is not enough warmth :(. And we're still waiting for the cauliflowers to show up from the plants. It must be great to grow tropical vegetables like avarakkai!

  8. Loved the pics you shared da. :) It's one thrilling feeling to see the vegetables/fruits grow in our own backyard. I could keep looking at them for ages. Our produce this time is fruits - sapotas, guavas, pomegranates and bananas. It's a pleasure to watch the bananas, slowly turn bright yellow from their original greens. :) Way to go. keep up the gardening work..
